A precise slide filler for pellets

The same mechanism of a volumetric filler has been adopted for the pellet dosing and filling unit. With a separating slide and a separating plate, both moving back and forth, controlling the opening of the material hopper and the dosing chamber, respectively, pellets first fall from the material hopper into the dosing chamber, then from the dosing chamber into the capsule body being held in the lower segment. Very accurate fill weight is obtained with a volume adjustable dosing chamber. The pellet filling station can be incorporated perior or subsequent to the powder dosing station.
